Do music lessons make you smarter?

    This is great information--I took piano lessons as a child and I don't know if it made me smarter, but it made me more well-rounded! Now for my children I want them to do the same, I have even thought about giving them the option to learn music online with a live tutor. (that way I don't have to drive them!)
